THE MALDIVES
www.lilybeachmaldives.com This a beautiful little resort. Many of the guests are repeat visitors and it's easy to see why people return again and again. If you are looking for a peaceful break in idyllic surroundings, you wont get much better than this at a very reasonable price.
BORNEO
www.shangri-la.com/kotakinabalu/rasaria/en/index.aspx Nice hotel with a bit of luxury and Orangutans right on your doorstep. We loved it. The beach looks great but there is often a problem with Sand Flies and Jelly Fish. The eco-policy of the hotel prevents them from spraying the beach but don't let this put you off.
